Jimmy's Morning Routine

Jimmy wakes up each morning at precisely 6:22. He has tried many times to wake up before or after 6:22 in the morning, but it's simply impossible. Like most potatoes, his internal alarm clock cannot be altered. So, he's been waking up at 6:22 since the day he was...born?
The first thing Jimmy does each morning is his yoga. Even before he brushes his teeth or gets dressed, Jimmy can be found doing his morning yoga routine.

After yoga, Jimmy brushes his teeth, and gets dressed.
When he picks out the perfect outfit, Jimmy then has his morning cup of coffee and reads the paper. He prefers The Potato Times, but he'll often read The Hash Brown Daily if he's in the mood for something a bit more controversial.
When Jimmy cooks his breakfast, he turns up "Good Morning" by Mandisa and dances about his humble kitchen.
"Good morning!!!!!" He'll sing at the top of his little potato vocal cords as he flips his pancakes or scrambles his eggs!

He eats at his potato-sized table with his potato-sized plate and utensils as the regular-sized sun shines through the nearby window(It really is a wonder he hasn't become a baked potato after all these years).
After breakfast, Jimmy pulls out a book no shorter than 330 pages, and reads what he can before he has to leave for work.

Since it's the winter season, he puts on his coat, his ugly wool scarf, and his lovely cap, and heads outside to his Potatomobile...and off to work he goes!

Jimmy's First Adventure

Jimmy woke up this morning with the plan to go on a pleasant walk amongst the outdoors. He put on his coat. He put on his wool scarf that was given to him a Christmas. It is actually quite ugly, and Jimmy doesn't exactly fancy it, but it was warm. You cannot deny a warm, cozy scarf. And lastly, Jimmy put on his wool cap which is actually quite lovely.
Jimmy opened the front door only to close it again. There was weird white stuff all over the ground!! Jimmy had never seen snow. He was unable to form a proper thought. This white stuff was cold, but very captivating and beautiful.

Ah. Thought Jimmy The snow is an oxymoron.
Jimmy smiled to himself. He'd have to remember to write that thought down later. It seemed to make for perfect poetry.
After gathering his potato bearings, Jimmy finally opened the door once more and step gingerly outside.
Jimmy decided, after looking about himself in amazement, that he must dance in the snow while singing a song of importance.
So Jimmy danced and twirled through the snow and if you listened hard enough, you could hear a song coming out of his little potato vocal chords.
"The hills are aliiiive with the sound of musiiiiiiiic!!!"
Not surprisingly, Jimmy soon ran out of breath. Jimmy doesn't have a very great stamina, but he's only a potato, so what do you expect? Even at that, Jimmy is a very fit potato, so the stamina he does have is quite extraordinary for one of his species.
Jimmy plopped down on the snow-covered ground and made himself a snow angel. (Is it just me or does that sound suspiciously like a rap lyric?)

Jimmy's snow angel was a work of art. It was so beautiful that he named it. Then he remembered The Weeping Angels from Doctor Who and the angel was suddenly quite scary!
After staring at his angel for many long minutes, Jimmy became quite cold. He decided that it was time to go inside (even if it meant potentially being touched by a Weeping Angel).
Jimmy had a lovely adventure in the oxymoronic snow, and it was time for him to sit down by the fire and read a book of mighty length.

The Beginnings

This is a blog that recounts the stories of the dear Potato by the name of Jimmy.
He says "Hello!" by the way...
A little back story. Before you ask if he's from Idaho, we will get to the later. I promise.
He honestly doesn't open up much about his past. For all we know he could come from a circus where he was abused by clowns... not saying all clowns are bad. But some are really scary, you know?!
Anyways...
Jimmy is really sweet. Always smiling, that kind soul. He enjoys jazz and swing music, and classic novels. ( He's a closet Jane Austen fan.. but I am totally not the one that told you guys). He loves a good spot of tea, but doesn't mind the occasional cup of coffee.
He absolutely loves to go on little adventures; like walks in the woods, the random drives, and shenanigans in Walmart. His biggest dream is to one day own a monocle and top hat and be referred to as Sir Jimmy the Potato.
I hope and pray that as this blog continues and his stories unravel that you enjoy Jimmy as much as we. :)
